SMS Consent & Messaging Terms

At Insurance Technology Group (ITG), we use text messaging carefully and only in connection with a customer’s request.
Our SMS workflow is built to support quote follow-up, service communication, and inquiry response — not unsolicited marketing.
ITG only sends text messages when a user requests information and gives permission to be contacted by SMS.
1. What This SMS Program Is For
Our SMS program is used for user-initiated communication related to:
- Quote follow-up
- Customer support
- Requests for missing information needed to complete a quote
- Account or service follow-up tied to a customer inquiry
- Direct responses to questions submitted through our website or by phone
2. What This SMS Program Is Not For
This SMS consent does not authorize Insurance Technology Group to send:
- Unsolicited marketing messages
- Bulk sales promotions
- Mass advertising campaigns
- Discount blasts, newsletters, or unrelated promotional texts
3. How You Opt In
Users may opt in to receive SMS messages from ITG in the following ways:
- By submitting a website contact form and checking the SMS consent box
- By submitting a request-a-quote form and checking the SMS consent box
- By speaking with an ITG representative by phone and agreeing to receive follow-up by text message
4. Phone Call Consent
When a customer calls Insurance Technology Group and asks for quote follow-up or support by text, our representative requests permission before any text message is sent.
Example verbal consent language:
Would you like me to send that quote information to you by text message at this number? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

Mobile information will not be shared, sold, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
